I run this setup. BL Catless DP with their valved exhaust I personally like it I’m not sure how loud it is in comparison to others but personally it isn’t too loud for me. I’m tuned so I had the option to get rid of the cold start but I have a buddy that has a Kenji catless dp with BL exhaust...
Any add-on lip I feel like it will scrape. I live in SoCal and I’ve gone through two lips Maxton v1 and v2. Maybe a lip like the Seibon might be a little better since that’s a replacement to the OEM black plastic one and just sits a bit lower than OEM.
That’s crazy man! Congrats on the feat! I’ve noticed that a lot more artist are using more “tuner” cars instead of the super car vibe most go for.
If you can afford it and even if you can’t try saving enough so you can get one…this is definitely the way! Have used one before and was about to buy my own but bought a spoiler instead ?‍♂️ but it’s for sure my next big purchase for the car
That’s crazy man! I just got mine replaced for the same reason through Safelite using my insurance like about a 2 months ago. They came to my house and did everything there took them about 2 hours and took it for a drive around the block to calibrate it. Haven’t had an issue or any CEL come up...
I daily drive my 2020 and I’m pretty over them. I turned them off all the way down I do like it when it naturally makes the gurgling sound upshifting when you step on it all the way.
I was told the same thing at my Toyota dealership so it’s a no for me dawg. Even if they did say they could do it without connecting a computer I still wouldn’t trust them since it’s so easy for them to “connect by mistake” or “we forgot”
I think you can buy one of those aftermarket ones and get the CF cover so it looks like the OEM one with holes but with the same EU light functionality.
Seems to be that most 2020s will be getting the same warning then since it’s on a timer. I got mine as well about a week ago at 17K and it’s one of the early 2020 models
This is the same kind I have for the supra and my work tractor and since I’m not off-roading neither I don’t really worry about stability which it’s pretty good anyways
Personally I think it goes from “really loud” to just “loud” when you switch to comfort at least from the inside lol. I’ve never heard my exhaust from the outside but the valves do make difference
