It isn't stuck and you should stop trying to force it. There is a clip that faces the inside of the car that needs to be pressed towards the outside of the car in order to remove it. I use a medium sized flat head screw drive to push it is so it can be removed.
I saw this thread and thought to myself "I wonder if it will actually look good and be of some quality". You guys were not wrong - I finished up spraying Super Wrap last night and am fairly pleased. Aside from the tedious task of masking the tires and inner wheel, the spray portion went well...
Engine oil temp and pressure would certainly be awesome to have in easily readable gauges I admit - but a boost gauge (yawn) there ain't no scramble button in the car so who cares. I don't autocross so again not sure I need the rear differential temp. Anyone notice the mock-up only goes to 20...
Rotary Heart - if you do not want to go through the trouble of cutting and stuffing to line the walls of the enclosure.......try speaker baffling like I did. I'm not a patient person like tadda so I went the cheap and easy route. Works like a champ!
no leaks - the car sits on a very light colored rug in the garage for that reason.
Interesting update - went home yesterday and fired up the bluetooth OBD link and found zero codes. I figured the dealer had cleared them so I took it out for a drive, logged everything and checked again...
So there I was driving my wife's Supra in to work today - not screwing around I might add - when I went to shut the car off, it throws a drivetrain warning. Took it to the dealer and they diagnosed "Turbo coolant pump failure" . Car has less than 2000 miles so I was wondering if anyone else...
Doesn't look like anyone here has had forged internals...........absolutely agree with rocksandblues and DesmoSD. Not allowing your car to warm up is largely based around european law and environmental concerns. That said, cars these days are built to tolerate quite a bit of abuse.
BL -...
All, that is impressive! Bearings, chambers, heads looked ridiculous good. My built LSX cost as much as my supra, including turbo, and I'm pushing close to 24 lbs on a 427ci. With the different fuels and a 100 shot on top of it is amazing. Freeze frame the bearings and...
As a dude that's flown with a HUD for 29 years in the Air Force - I like it. I would like it more if had a tach or shift light but love not looking down to change the sirius station. I can't understand why you would leave something off that trim level. Choice is a great thing -
Also confirmed - TADA is a genius. Tested up to 75 mph - disrupts the airflow just the right amount to keep the flutter outside of the windows. Probably lose .5 mph top-end :p
