Towed with these lasso straps/rachets 500 miles each way to Grattan Raceway with no problem.
Not sure how well they'd work in an enclosed trailer though.

Three or four cold brake applications with the DTC-60s will really clean up a set of rotors!
I got that lift and bridge jacks from Greg Smith Equipment in 2011. I believe they now sell through Tooltopia.com. I recall it being around $3500 shipped back in the day.
Unfortunately, steel prices have hit the cost of lifts pretty hard.

Took delivery 10/8/2022 from Cedar Rapids (IA) Toyota. Had put a deposit down back in July
Planning minimal mods, focused on HPDE track work. SPL parts to add camber in front, a set of track pads to swap in, and I've put the Verus diff cooling scoop on.
Mid_Ohio is a great track-- good balance between technical and speed, has some fun elevation changes, though there are a couple of spots where those do try and throw you off the track.
Also, if it's wet, it's like freakin' ice.

My wifeās Tahoe after a 500+ mile, 10 hour drive from Kansas back to Iowa last Saturday.
Hadnāt expected the winter weather in Kansas. Really glad it had snow tires on It.
$722 at purchase in Iowa for registration. Looks like annual renewal is $529ā it stays at that level (unless thereās some kind of statutory change) until the twelfth year after manufacture.
The i8 was around $1300/yr.
Those are aftermarket 18s with snow tires on them. Fingers crossed that link works.
Edited to include a picture of the OEM wheels which I recall being 19s.

Unfortunately, got rear ended on the interstate last week. Still drivable and sounds wind tight, but who knows what Iāll be driving once itās off for rrepairs.
