I think the popularity of leasing new vehicles has made prices kind of irrelevant for most of the buying public. Yes nobody likes the notion of paying more (for the same product), but leasing makes the "price" more of an abstract concern.
Check for water in the tires. I had this happen on my old Mazda 3 when I had new tires out on. It rained the day before and some water got in it caused vibration at higher speeds.
For street and daily enjoyment would recommend sticking with the Supra. For daily and mixed track use I view the G82 M2. If track/autox GT4 will be best tool for that job.
Hey OP, would suggest creating a search request in CarMax and sign up for email alerts. Test drives are free, although will cost some bucks if u want to ship it in from out of state. I know ur set on an manual, but doing a test drive of the auto will (1) give u a feel for the packaging and...
Congrats OP! Avoid the dealer at all costs, they mean well but are incompetent. If u can find an Indy mechanic that works on Euro cars, u should be all set.
Putting price aside, would getting a good deal on an auto still keep u from getting a MT? In my view, if the heart wants, go get it. U can always make sacrifices to save up, making the numbers work on an emotional thing is secondary.
Agreed. Paint may look a bit mis matched under the right light conditions, it's just a reality of how it all comes together out the factory versus paint shop. Key is to not look too hard or think about it lol
IMO, BMW got the better deal long term getting access to the hydrogen powertrain technology Toyota spent R&D on. Alternative fuels are still low on consumer adoption but for industry use cases (fleet, buses, airport, intra-plant, rail to truck , etc.) the investment in hydrogen is probably...
I'd like to move this thread to a more productive direction (if OP is okay with that).
What can (we), the community of Supra owners learn from this, so we don't repeat the same mistakes, and give the voting public more excuses to penalize all enthusiasts? I'll get us started...
1. Enjoy the...
Agreed, and I'm guessing the level of corporate PTSD with the project (perhaps) motivated Tada-san to retire, fortunately never having to jump onto another conference call out of Munich 😂. I'm grateful to (1) Akio for backing the project and choosing Tada-san to lead it (2) Calty for doing the...
Here in the States, anybody with a driver's license and a wad of cash can get a lot of car with very little driving experience and/or instruction.
Hey, u got me! Lol
I'll be honest - I can't tell just based on the video what nannies were turned on or off.
It looks like there was one chance...
Could happen to anyone on this thread/forum, the car (like most modern cars) has tons of power under the right foot. Hope the drivers involved in the crash are okay. Cars can be replaced but people can't.
