Looks good but what is their function and purpose? They sit OUTSIDE of the gasket that seals the hood between the engine bay and fenders.
The easy way to see if they make any difference would be to stick a thermometer under the hood and drive around. Then pop your vents out completely and...
No - It is not.
E-85 has less energy density per gallon than E-10 or E-0.
Sure on a one for one basis, a gallon of E-0 has more emissions n it than a gallon of E-85 does. That much is true. What they don't tell you is that it will take you 1.2 gallons of E-85 to do the work that E-0 could do...
Mobil 1 is low in Zinc which is a wear additive that you want in a higher RPM engine or in the event there is oil starvation (or if you lose the sump pan). I was a staunch M1 customer for years but switched to Valvoline because I like the additive package they use better. Now after reading...
We have had a 1998, 2005, 2012, and 2017 Mustang. The 17 was by far the best and most refined of the lineage. Best Mustang ever. When we were looking for a new car we drove 2022 Mustangs and they felt just like the 2017 - why get a new car then? So when we got the Supra, the 2017 became our...
Ah! Excellent question.
And no - not a drag strip. She's an every day driver that we drive once a week because of WFH in the post C-19 landscape.
I live in AZ. It's hotter than a MOFO here. Summers get to 120 and pavement air (which the Supra sits right down on) is even hotter. Just looking...

I've run this in the past in other vehicles. Since the Supra has a low temp cooling side for the AC and Inter-cooler, I was wondering if this would be a good add in. Or if it's verboten in our cars because BMW used some space age German engineering that...
The way it was explained to me was this....
Blankets are for cold weather and heat shields are for hot weather.
Blankets keep the heat in the turbo so it functions correctly in the colder climates (originally a diesel thing) and the heat shields keep the turbo from heating up the engine bay in...
Looking for advice on tint. We are an Arizona Supra so 35% on the sides is our darkest allowable tint. Looking at the examples here, that's fine. We may even step up to something less dark when I see samples in person. We are going ceramic.
Goals for Tint
1. Heat Reduction
2. Reduce fatigue...
Quality was good - I'll give it that.
I'm 6'1" and drive with the seat all the way back. It rubs my arms and prevents me from accessing the cup holders without my elbow using the space it occupies. anything in the rear cubby was so far back, my wife had to unbuckle to turn 180 degrees to get...
Part of our issue is too much junk in the trunk to be honest. We carry a fair amount of First Aid and Road Trouble Gear in the vehicles we drive. Makes the Supra a rolling first aid kit. It's red so maybe I just put a big white cross and some lights on it and call it a day.
Not when I'm riding Shotgun.
Thinking about tossing he manual in the trunk in the battery compartment. It seems to have ample space and I'll need access to the manual about as much as the battery. Any issues with that? Something I'm not considering? Fire hazard?
Some good tips in this...
Wife was getting played with by some kid in his daddy's Mercedes SLC. I would have thought the Merc would have had the day but the wife hit sport mode and we were off. I turned around stunned the SLC wasn't passing us and looked behind us to see him sucking our exhaust about 6 car lengths...
