  3. Time to change brake pads?

Material transfer was definitely part of it, but they were most certainly warped. New rotors feel fantastic!
  4. Time to change brake pads?

Quick update on this thread! The MX72+ pads have been great so far, however because they get hotter than stock they quickly warped my original rotors. New Gyrodisc rotors are installed and ready for a new track season!

  6. Aftermarket sway bar with SPL LCA’s

I drove the Supra around a bit today and this is what Iā€™m looking at. Honestly the rub is barely noticeable while driving and I only hear it when making very sharp turns. Is this even anything to worry about? Maybe just a little grinding off the end of the sway bar would do the trick.
  7. Aftermarket sway bar with SPL LCA’s

@Msoupe Wanted to involve you in this as well since you have some experience with remedying this issue also. With the SPL front lower control arms & Cusco sway bar, would either the AFE or SPL adjustable end links be enough to remedy the rubbing issue (since they can be shortened and raise up...
  8. Aftermarket sway bar with SPL LCA’s

Just checking in! I just had the SPL front lower control arms installed along with the Cusco non-adjustable front sway bar. Everything else is stock. I noticed some rubbing with turning and periodic clunking when hitting bumps. I checked underneath and there is some slight rubbing. Did simply...
  9. Time to change brake pads?

I've heard some mixed reviews on the standard MX72, but I have read from various other forums (BMW & Porsche) the the MX72 plus is better and is more tolerant to temperature. I still want a pad that is not overly aggressive for street use. We'll see how it does!
  10. Time to change brake pads?

Thank you all! I just ordered Endless MX72 plus pads and will install them (along with SPL front lower control arms for camber adjustability) before NJMP in November.
  11. Time to change brake pads?

9 track days of HPDE 1 & 2 on stock brake pads & around 8000 miles on the vehicle. I am planning one more 3 day track weekend at NJMP Lightning in November and Iā€™m curious if I should purchase new pads or if the stock pads still have enough life. What do you all think? Iā€™m considering Endless...
  12. My Pewter Supra Build Log

Hi Nibble, I'm taking my Supra to my performance shop for an alignment adjustment. Being on the stock alignment the outside of my front tires is wearing considerably. What would you recommend I ask my shop to tune the camber to? Would I need to buy any other parts to accomplish even front tire...
  13. What brake pad options for street and track with Stock rotors???

Any more feedback on the MX72 pad? Considering it for a street/track pad.
  14. A90 Supra Brake Pads / Rotors / Fluid

Hi everyone, Love the information but I'm honestly confused at what would be most appropriate for street & HPDE 2 use. I frequent NJMP lightning & thunderbolt and have been running the stock brake setup for 5 track days so far without issue. I was recommended to upgrade my stock brake pads...
  15. Locking lug nuts for extended studs?

Installed MH 78mm 14x1.5 studs, but canā€™t find locking lug nuts that have a key that goes deep enough to accommodate the extended stud length. Does anyone with extended studs have any locking lug nut solutions? I previously purchased the Monster Open Locking Lug set but the key isnā€™t deep...
  16. ā–ŗ APEX 18x10 ET30 Technical Notes: Tire Fitment and More

Do you happen to have any pictures of your car with this setup? Would love to go this route but I'm concerned how it would look since I'm on stock suspension height. Thanks!
