  1. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I agree, will probably do wheel hubs/bearings and studs this year also. Do you have a part number for the wheel hubs? Are they the same all 4 corners?
  2. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Interesting. I had to do some research on this and I see that this can be a point of failure. Do you recommend purchasing aluminum guibos for both the front and rear of the driveshaft? I see Torque Solution sells one.
  3. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

27 days. In my original post I mentioned what I have done so far.
  4. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Looking to do some preventative maintenance for my 2022 Supra 3.0. After 27 track days of HPDE with NASA, HOD, and Chin, I want to do whatever I can to be proactive and stay ahead of known problem areas. I am currently changing engine oil, tires, brake pads, rotors, and fluid regularly. Yearly I...
  5. Verus oil-to-air oil cooler

Getting back to the Verus Oil Cooler, just got it installed and will test it out at VIR and Watkins Glen in back to back weekends so we will see! So far on the street, I definitely notice a “humming” sound from installing the Verus cooler due to it flowing the additional oil around, but it...
  6. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Great! Thank you! I appreciate both you and FLTrackDays commenting and for your wisdom. Would you have recommended specs I could send my alignment shop? They are working on it tomorrow.

  8. brake pads for track use

I have DTC-60 front DTC-30 rear and while they do squeal and dust quite a bit, I like them. Try to keep the wheels clean as the dust is corrosive!
  9. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Alignment question. I HPDE with my Supra in either intermediate or advanced groups. Use Hankook RS4 tires 275 front 305 rear setup, SPL front lower control arms, sway bar end links, and caster bushings, Cusco sway bar front and rear. Saw a post once that says this is the ideal alignment (pic 1)...
  10. Headrest adjustment for improved comfort while wearing a helmet?

I am serious. I am curious if it would be possible to somehow bend the headrest back a little. Maybe someone has tried this or has been able to disassemble the seat to custom fab it so it sits more vertical.
  11. Headrest adjustment for improved comfort while wearing a helmet?

Not sure if it is possible, but can the stock headrest be adjusted so it does not point forward so far? The way it is stock it makes wearing a helmet uncomfortable because your head is pushed forward so much. Thanks.

  14. Time to change brake pads?

Material transfer was definitely part of it, but they were most certainly warped. New rotors feel fantastic!
  15. Time to change brake pads?

Quick update on this thread! The MX72+ pads have been great so far, however because they get hotter than stock they quickly warped my original rotors. New Gyrodisc rotors are installed and ready for a new track season!

  17. Aftermarket sway bar with SPL LCA’s

I drove the Supra around a bit today and this is what I’m looking at. Honestly the rub is barely noticeable while driving and I only hear it when making very sharp turns. Is this even anything to worry about? Maybe just a little grinding off the end of the sway bar would do the trick.
  18. Aftermarket sway bar with SPL LCA’s

@Msoupe Wanted to involve you in this as well since you have some experience with remedying this issue also. With the SPL front lower control arms & Cusco sway bar, would either the AFE or SPL adjustable end links be enough to remedy the rubbing issue (since they can be shortened and raise up...
