Sitting here at VIR with a broken stock charge pipe that blew off during a session. Came to the forums to research a good replacement. Stayed for the forum battle.

I thought stock pipe was just to get home from the dealership? After that time to change it for something better.

Maybe but to be fair it didn't fail until 99k miles. I was hoping to hit 100k on track this weekend but the problem sent me home... Though JB weld did get me a couple more sessions!

That's the case with older BMW N54 and N55 models; with the B58, it's a better design, and it was thought that the problem was fixed. We are now realizing that it still needs to be upgraded
