AFE Control Tow Hooks

Bought a set of these for my track Supra, front and rear. Quick review:

Execution: Poor
Quality: Ok

Execution:
-Templates needed to cut out holes in hook covers were missing. No problem, you might say, go and get them from the site. Well, they're not there lol. I managed by watching a video for the Cusco hooks. Not a huge deal since its a track car, but you're going to want those templates if you're building a show ride.
-Order shipped a little over a week after I ordered them. I get it, supply chain, just be aware.

Quality:
-The "AFE Control" is not painted on as insinuated by the product page. Its a sticker.
-Speaking of stickers, one was damaged from a drop or something on one of the hooks.
-More on stickers, this thing isn't going to last long lol. Its going to come off with a quickness once exposed to heat/road debris.
-The powder coat is pretty thin. Starts coming off as soon as you take your ratchet out of the toolbox.

All in all, its adequate for my track car needs. However, if you're interested in looks, skip this one.

One of the reasons I got the Cusco hooks. The only products I've ever purchased from aFe that were at an acceptable level of quality were a standard filter for the airbox and the set of sway bars.

Good to know, I'll avoid them in the future.

I like the look, plus the hooks will stay on permanently as it is a track car. No sense in taking them off then keeping them.
