Are Carbon fiber hoods with vent openings bad in an area that rains quite a bit?

Looking to get a carbon fiber hood from but would like to know if it would be a bad idea in an area that rains. Will the rain cause any damages going through the openings that these 2 have?

No, rain will not damage the car or water unless you pressurized that engine bay. Pretty much everything is sealed tight for water.
