I was driving home from the movies yesterday and this error message popped up.
"Drivetrain: Continued driving possible. No Roadside Assistance necessary. Drive power reduced. Make an appointment with your dealer."
This error came about 6 days after getting my car serviced at the dealer for an oil change and for a recall.
In those 6 days, I'd probably driven somewhere in the ballpark of 50 miles.
I also had recently re-fuled from about a 50 miles remaining to a full tank on the day of the warning.
(It's possible I put 87 but I'm more than sure I fueled with 91, definitely not diesel though)
I've since parked the car and bought a scan tool to read the errors. Bimmerlink came back with these errors around the time my odometer matched the warning.
Digital Motor Electronics
21A125: Emergency run manager: Rail operated at low pressure
119304: Rail pressure sensor, plausibility: pressure too high before engine start
118001: Mixture control: Mixture too lean
I've turned off my car and ran it for about 20ish miles but the warning appears when the engine starts.
I also didn't drive it for a whole 24 hours, but that didn't remedy anything either.
The car doesn't feel different, shifts are smooth and accelerating also seems about normal.
