I tried searching and could not come up with any real definitive answers....so with that being said, they must only be midgets among us! Im kidding of course. I installed the Cusco harness bar for more room and that's what i got. I'm 6'2' and about 260 lbs. I was comfortable in the car for driving spirited and short trips but could never really stretch out for longer cruises and when my old man aches come into play. Cusco bar was so simple to install. In the dark, with a flash light in my mouth, it took about 20 minutes. Quality is something that i would build myself with strength over looks. For $205 shipped to my door (FT Speed)...not worth my time to build. I had my seat at the right recline and was able to go back about another 1/2". I am also able to get the back tilted back another 1". I actually am able to "lean" back a bit for those long cruises. It may be only a little bit but when arthritis sets in and the fun is sucked out of life...every inch counts. My only real complaint is the color. If I had a blue car then it would be great but with black....ugh. I will probably do a K-Brace at some point and i will remove and powder coat everything to one color at that time.

Thank you for posting this! As a big guy myself, every inch of seat adjustment in my supra is at a premium. Got the bar installed tonight (not at all complicated, but I always hate prying off trim pieces and there isn't much room to maneuver back there) and am happy with the result.

FYI for anyone else shopping out there: FT Speed are now asking $365 for the bar. I ordered from Black Hawk Japan, calculating that at $161, even after adding in the expensive international shipping it'd still be cheaper than anywhere else I could find ... but I forgot about tariffs. Ok, so the current rate for Japan is 15%, 15% of $161 is $24.15. Not too bad, I should still be ahead. UPS asked for $111.50 in duties and fee! With absolutely zero details as to how that number was calculated. So I wouldn't recommend that route.

That doesn't seem right, i just got an order from black hawk 2 weeks ago, 60 bucks for 398 bucks worth of brake pads.

Either way, it still looks like you came out ahead vs buying from ftspeed.

Mine offers a bit more room and the passenger seat doesn’t squeak against it, like OEM. Did a satin spray paint and satin clear to sort of match the exterior while not being too shiny. Love mine.
