Recently installed the TRD style Rexpeed V1 lip. Fitment & overall quality genuinely surprised me.

However, the side fins use 3M double-sided tape, which leaves a tiny gap. Most wouldn’t care, but I did not want road debris to build up…

I tried out some Honda/Acura body kit gap filler and it worked surprisingly well. Sharing part number because I know some of you NEED this lol.

There is also a Toyota variant that seems to be used on Toyota trucks. But I don't know the part number for it anymore.

Edit: Found it!

I used to use that on my Evo for the rear OEM spats lol. If i remember correctly, that corresponds to the S2000 CR's OEM lip gasket.

Do you have a close-up picture before applying the filler? I am debating to get the same lip.

I do not, but the gap wasn’t bad (I’m just picky). Fitment is 9/10 which is pretty good for a rep of a complex piece like this.

Thanks! Are there any install videos for this and does the kit come with instructions? Also did you have to drill in new holes into bumper? Not sure how this kit was installed.

No install videos. The instructions it came with were just copies of the TRD lip installation instructions.

It suggested to drill a couple holes and open up a couple pre-existing holes, but I did NOT do that since I found it overkill.

With the way it’s installed on my car, I could go back to stock with zero issues and zero holes…

More info on my build thread.
