Brembo Color Change (Seeking Shop)

I'm located in South Carolina.

Does anyone know of a reputable shop/company in the southeast near South Carolina preferably, that would offer a service to pull the F/R brakes and offer a powdercoating service to change the color and maintain factory Brembo look (labeling). I'm over the red. I'm willing to travel to neighboring states to get this performed.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Why not do it yourself with a pack spray can? The paint supply shop can mix any colour you like and 2 pack is at least as good as powder coat for callipers.

In my experience, paint doesn't hold up as well as powdercoating for debris while driving, nor is it as heat resistant during any tracking.

Oh well, I guess mine are bound to fail then? 2k and hardener in a rattle can. Cost me 70 bucks and a few hours of my time

Please correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't powder coating weaken calipers which is why it's preferred to just paint them? This could totally be an old wives tale.

Almost certainly because you haven't used 2K paint. It's a paint with a catalyst for hardening and is very heat resistant. Even stock Brembo callipers can eventually discolour the paint with consistent track day use.

High temp seals or boots? In my experience the high temp boots dont last but oem seals are fine. I swapped for high temp boots and after like 3 events they've blown out.

Good to know. So for acquiring this paint, what are the best vendors to work with to get the color dialed in?

Still kind of curious why wheel/brake manufacturers wouldn't use this paint if it was as durable or better than powder coating. Seems like an obvious choice if it's on par with PC and it's cheaper. Regardless...

Sorry can't help you there as I'm in Australia. You need to see a professional paint supplier and get them onto your case. My guy sells 2k down to 250ml quantities colour matched to whatever you want. I have all the spray paint gear, compressor etc so I just buy my paint in a normal can. The other option is the same automotive paint supplier and buy yourself a small airbrush which these days are cheap as chips and do it yourself An airbrush will do the job. Mix up 200ml of paint and hardener and the airbrush should have enough capacity to do at least 1 calliper and just keep topping it up.
Here's some bike stuff I did a couple of years ago in 2K. Easy to use and beautiful finish.
The red piece in the background is the original paint and my guy matched it by eye to what I painted in the foreground. The sating black is a before and after shot. I've used it on engines and cylinder heads in the past no issues. So it's totally doable at home. Total cost in materials if you do it yourself I'd imagine in the states less than 100 bucks.
