Building track car GR

Im new to the site and searched for some answers to a few questions. Im trying to mirror the GT4 car kind of. I ordered KW V4 and 380x35 6 piston Forged Pista front brakes and 380x28 rear GTS monobloc. Im told I can run 18 x 11 square with hopefully 305's. Anyone with any experience with this setup?

Also the turbulence issue is horrible at 130mph + with windows down. I am going to have to remove the windows to be class legal if I go to SCCA or NASA. Comments? I can go to plexiglass rear window with holes but Im not ready to do that if not necessary. I cant believe the car was not tested for this issue

Are you a professional driver?

I would advise you to search the forums better, it will take much more than just that to build a fairly decent track car, let alone something that resembles a GT4.

Above all you will need track seat time.

If you are not a pro, don’t rush building something that you have no skills to drive.

First get a hold of what the car can do stock.

Then change grip and balance, suspension, cooling and safety, then aero , and finally add more power. You won’t need much. Many people just run stock power.

But learning g to drive a normal car goes first. Check my signature for a sample plan of a more relaxed build that grows as I grow as driver

Remove the windows?????

You can just roll down the windows. Is what everyone does.
