So, the weather got cold, and I'm throwing a 20F206. It was also wet when I first got the DTC.

This is: Heat management module activation, line disconnect. (Whatever that means exactly)

I clear the code with Ecutek: it vanishes for 2 days, then reappears. Clear it again, it does not come back on after 20 minute drive today.

Car is in limp mode according to Ecutek data log (attached--logged when idle after light came on), but drives otherwise fine, so it's not the kind of limp mode that limits throttle, rpm, etc.

Questions:
1) Anyone else deal with this?
2) What is best solution? I'm thinking buy a new heat management module and replace?
I'm tuned so, Toyota ain't gonna warranty it.
3) What would you do?

Suggestions guys?

Toyota can only deny warranty on things the tune "breaks". Are you so sure the tune broke this part?

Hi All , sorry to revive this thread !
I have a check engine light in my car, I looked at the engine and my forge catch can was unplugged on both top hoses.
I plugged them back on and I thought that would be the issue !
The CEL still there , I plugged in a scanner and it says that there are no trouble codes .
I don’t want to take it to the dealer just to have the code cleared .
Any of you experience this ?
best regards
