Hi, yesterday I placed my order for my first Supra. I have been assured that it should arrive around the end of February. Toyota website indicated 6 week delivery, although today it is showing 7 weeks. Either way I cannot wait.
I have ordered a 'Lightening Yellow' 2.0. List price is around £50,495, I have secured it for £48,000 which I am pleased with. In the UK 'Lightening Yellow ' is the 'no cost' option, thankfully it was my first choice.
I had been looking for a replacement for my 17 year owned Corvette C5 which I sold almost exactly a year ago. Initially, because of the price, I didn't consider the Supra. In fact, apart from seeing one of the first Supra's being delivered to a local dealership around 3 year's ago, I have only ever seen two others on the road.
Not being a fan of the Mazda MX5, it really only left a second hand Abarth Spider, or a BMW Z4. However, after investigating the Supra I had no doubt I had to have one. I seriously believe it is one of the best looking cars on the road today.
For many years I have almost exclusively bought 'American' cars, so buying a Toyota is quite a departure of what I typically look for. I currently own a 2015 Mustang Ecoboost that I have owned from new. I also own a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, again owned from new. I plan to keep all 3, at least for the time being. So looking forward to adding the Supra to my 'collection '.
Will add some photos as soon as I find out how to add them
