Display Screen Brightness

Before I bought it, I did see several guys online complain about the lack of brightness in the 8" display. I had no idea it would be THIS bad! If you have sunglasses on, the screen appears to be OFF! I have to take off my glasses then bend over to right in front of the screen, and even then - almost impossible to read. It's erally pretty useless. I have the gouge lighting knob FULL UP. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Hopefully Toyo will do something to correct.

Relatively easy fix if you have an OBD2 adapter and BimmerCode. Following is a link with a step by step guide on how to fix it:



I have done it on my car and it solved the problem permanently.

Yeah, that was the first thing I noticed during the test drive that needed immediate attention with Bimmercode. No issue since.
