Bought these Alcantara steering wheel wrap from a Chinese website. I liked them because I have always liked the Porsche GT3 style steering wheel with the center marker. Also had the yellow stitching. I spent almost 5 hours sewing the wrap, and it turns out wonderful!

only blemish is that there’s a wrinkle on the right thumb side and I had to cut a small hole to smoothen it. bad decision.. but oh well.

As someone who lives eats and breaths nothing but Supra steering wheels, I got to say this didn't come out half bad, I've seen some abysmal steering wheel wraps, and this is not bad. And you definitely got the Porsche look down, here is a wheel I just completed for a 991.2, and a few of my takes on the same concept! If you ever get the itch to upgrade to a custom wheel, I'd be happy to throw some additional discounts your way and get some real world feedback comparing the two options as I know you are far from the first to take this route! Good work!

Thank you, and the pic you posted looks absolutely AMAZING! My taste would be wrap the steering wheel entirely with Alcantara, but I’ve heard bad things about them, especially greasing and maintainability. The third one isn’t symmetric, seems like the Alcantara wrap on the left is not stitched on, but glued on? I

I was really tempted to get a custom steering wheel, but the only issue is that they are too expensive.. I’ve heard people talking about M ones that are aftermarket, looks great, relatively inexpensive, and compatible, but I have been a little suspicious. The wrap I bought was in Chinese dollars, but it was around 50 USD, so still fairly affordable. I also want to keep the OEM core for safety reasons. But my opinions change really fast. I will def hit you up if I ever decide to upgrade!

Just angle, all stitched. I exclusively deal with OEM Cores! for quality and safety reasons. Price point is definitely higher by a good amount, but as many here can attest, a wheel can make huge difference to the driving experience as it is your main point of contact with the car, something you see and feel everytime you are behind the wheel. Reach out anytime!

Great work on the wheel it came out really nice. I stitched my own cover on a previous car and can't say it came out that well and I certainly lack the patience nowadays so props. I would say also covering the airbag cover in alcantara would bring it all together, betting Nitro can help you there.

Looks nice! Looks like something that could’ve been an OEM option. So much better than the carbon fiber monstrosities that have somehow become popular.

Looks great! I want to try this out myself but not a lot of places give the option for yellow stitching. OP can you share the link where you got yours?
