@Carl - Driveway Labs you manufacture the wheels? Usually a wheel manufacturer does this that what I was asking. So you make these wheels from scratch? What machinery are you using?

It's my design, my specification, my strength and durability requirements. My standards. Made on industry leading equipment in the same facilities as any other top brand. I'm not giving up my manufacturing facility because it took me a lot of work to track down.

I am not making them in house if that's what you're asking. No one in the US makes press forged wheel blanks available to purchase, they're 100% produced in China.

The few places here in the US that cut their own wheels from the Chinese blanks are HRE on a small number of their models, Vorsteiner (if you want to pay $12,000 for the same thing I am offering) and that's about it. My press forging specs are much higher, resulting in strong

HRE has their wheels produced in Taiwan and China as well.

I looked at a place here in Michigan in North Carolina, both want $150,000+ minimum orders and the entire batch would be a single color. That doesn't allow me to meet my goals for the program of customization and end user price point.

ultimately I want to have my own machine to cut the final product but I'm about $600,000 short right now.

For example:

Forgeline - 6,000 ton press forge
Rays (Volk) - 10,000 ton press forge
Driveway Labs - 12,000 ton press forge

If you want flow form wheels, same process and machines as Enkei, HRE, etc, those cost $30-60 each wheel to make with finish.

just doing what I want with very little plan. I'm in a very unique and fortunate situation so I'd rather make things super high quality and accessible without a huge profit margin.

my wheels exceed the process and standards of brands that are charging $10,000+ for a set. I'm just not taking 500%+ mark ups

I have my next design planned, just wanted to get this one on market.

I think I'm going to roll this one into a "you design the specs" wheel because the cost ends up not changing for me ultimately on the design side, it's just time.

What type of design would you like to see? Mesh? 5 spoke? Lots of spokes?

I really liked this design. I just wish it could fit on a stock suspension car. I'm Looking forward to the next design.
