ECU MHD Tune

My ECU came back today from a tuning shop I know with a MHD unlock. They told me to turn auto-updates off on my car cause if I dont the ECU will lock again. Im in the system settings but I haven’t seen or found any options for it. I’ve seen videos of people just plugging it in & flashing it & thats it. Im just looking to confirm if I need to do anything to my system settings.

Pretty sure it doesn't do ota updates. Also, what year is yours? I had my ECU Femto unlocked and set up for mhd. Just haven't had the extra cash for the license right now

Supra does not do OTA updates for the ECU.

I would be a bit weary of a shop that thinks it does.

the only OTA updates that happen on the supra is the Idrive and Nav. DME does not get auto updated.
