Exhaust flap doesnt operate with the sport button.

Hey guys,

just installed the hks dual muffler. Im catless so its pretty loud. Police arent cool here so ill need to be able to close the valve fast if a cop is around. The only time the valve is closed is the first 30seconds of cold start then open again. Im custom tuned with bm3 tuner didnt know how to change the valve behavior. Only way i could get it closed is with bimmerlink, problem is it only works if im parked. Is there a way i can code this with bimmercode? Now im just thinking of taking it to an electrician and just run the valve with a switch, but that would be last resort. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe your set with Bimmercode or something else to always start in sport mode.

Does that HKS use the stock valve connection? It should normally work the same way as with the sport button, being closed in normal/comfort and open in sport mode.
