Hey everyone, I just started installing my SS lines from forge motorsport and I'm a bit concerned with how it connects to the hardline. The stock female connector fits through the tab connected to the chassis and between that connector and the nut on the hardline is a spring/spacer thing that locks the line down and prevents it from moving.
Well, after screwing in the forge motorsport female fitting there's a solid couple mm's of play allowing the line to move up and down. Has anyone else experienced this? Could I just add a washer or two to make up for that clearance?
Gify link showing the movement:
EDIT:
Did a bit of digging just to see if anyone else had this problem and I found this thread. Pretty much exactly what's wrong with my set from forge motorsport, the female connector does not have the little "wings" on the connector to properly fit through the bulkhead
The forge motorsport fitting is exactly like the right-most fitting whereas the other 2 are correct.

EDIT 2:
So after talking to a90 Shop and a few others, I was told there have been multiple sets installed with zero problems. And I was recommended that the spring be pinched to provide tension and/or use a washer to make up for the movement. This locks down the line connecting to the hardline in the original position. See the below pics for the solution:
