For tracking is it recommended to replace OEM with something like the stainless Forge brake lines?

And is there a video somewhere on how to do so?

Ideally you would want to for the added pedal feel and added safety in the event of on-track debris. Although I wouldn't let running OEM lines keep you from tracking. I did 2 events on OEM lines without any issues.

As far as a how-to, any ss line install video on YT should do. I dont believe there was anything weird I had to do on my end. Just make sure you dont run the reservoir dry, its a HUGE headache.

Uneducated opinion: only change to stainless lines if it’s a track car only. If you drive it on the road stick with the OEM lines. Reason being, flexibility.

Curiosity question. What do you mean by flexibility? Aftermarket SS lines are also flexible.

Not the lines themselves but the attachment points. My understanding is there is less flexibility where the lines attach on aftermarket stainless than OEM. Issue being more so on the caliper side than the vehicle. How many failures that has caused, IF any, I don’t know. Could be bullshit that I twisted into belief.

I can see were you might think that, but that is not correct. Attachments are solid like OEM, if anything, SS lines can bend tighter than OEM without kinking.

For sure, if the attachments are the same then the only real downside I could see is nonexistent.

Err, wait, is this where I was supposed to act petty and insecure because you corrected me? ?
