The reason you don't understand why Oscar listened and did what he did says a lot about the kind of person you are. Sad to say...

OK, now go ahead and rip me up and prove my point...
So you attack my personality, and expect me to do the same to prove it? 🤣

Good Lord maybe think about that one before hitting send lol.

So what kind of person am I, since all the racers, champions, pundits agree with me? McLaren is getting blasted everywhere on social and regular media. So maybe it's not me?

When your goal in life is to become World Champion, why would you help your rival, when it wasn't you that did anything wrong?

I'll ask again, you think ANY of the greatest Champions in this sport would've yielded with a title on the line?

Oscar has said on more than one occasion that it's team first, I think he's smart enough to know he has this in the bag, and doing it with the team is the way to go.
Unless he has a DNF, then those 3 points he lost yesterday all of a sudden could make or break it.

Man I loved how Max (& the team) got the car dialed in this weekend. Great to see him comfortable again.

As far as Mclaren, what a solid disappointment. Not the drivers, but the team. Shit is going to happen. What if there was a yellow flag? Lando drove better, do we swap positions, it’s not his fault. Stuff like that is what makes the sport fun and exciting. It shouldn’t be for the team to try and exact all the wrongs in the world, Lando’s (or Oscar’s) life or the sport. Just let them be men and not treat them like little boys šŸ‘¦šŸ¼

What a terrible thing to say! Shame on you! 🤣

Coincidentally I just read an article about Coulthard saying the same.

Apparently we're all terrible people to RonL 🤣

I'm not quite sure why everyone is struggling to understand what McLaren did?

Oscar was pitted first to protect his 3rd place from LeClerc, they then fucked up Lando's stop after promising him that he wouldn't get undercut, so made the decision to swap the cars around.

I don't think it's going to make a difference, last weekends DNF has pretty much ensured Lando is 2nd in the WDC.
Extremely simple thing to understand, and yet I feel like some struggle with this (Max fans especially) because they view this sport as extremely selfish and not a team sport. In reality what Oscar did was best for himself and the team as it could very easily have been the other way around.

What I would like to note, is that Oscar didn't play any games, didn't try to prove some silly point, he just let Lando by and gave it a chance to race to end the race. It's called class and maturity, something a lot on the grid can learn from.

What a surprise 🤣

The team title is all but secured. In fact they can win it in Baku. And I don't know if you knew this Skidmark, but if they finished in reversed positions, the team would get the same amount of points. So what Oscar was forced to do, had no impact on the team whatsoever. It was purely to help Lando.

So once again, wrong on all accounts.

I want to see an F1 race with NASCAR commentators calling the action. That would be epic.

What I want to see is David Croft dragged around a lap on a length of rope behind the safety car.

That would dramatically improve the commentary...

I didn’t hear him after the race but I do like his commentary.

Red Flags Podcast was good (as usual) this week. Until Brian (I think that’s his name) started dishinā€˜ on Max. Then my wife didn’t like it šŸ˜†. I’d love to see those guys commentate the whole race!!

And btw: love all y’all’s opinions on here!! Not everyone can be as smart as Danny and I 🄓, loving the numero uno 1ļøāƒ£ šŸ†šŸ„‡ best driver of all time āœŠšŸ¼ Verstappen all the way baby!!!!

I do like Oscar a lot. He should join team Max (formerly known as Red Bull) šŸ˜‰

Everyone at SKY really. The coverage at F1TV is so much better. Palmer is still biased, but much better. And Coulthard is great. He will usually tell it like it is.

I like Oscar too. He's a good kid. But he needs to learn to get his elbows out, and put his foot down against his teammate. And if he's ever in a team with Max he'll need to, or he'll get destroyed by him.
