Fuel Range at Zero

Hello. This is the second time this has happened. The car has plenty of gas but the fuel range is stuck at zero. Last time I disconnected the battery and it reset when it reattached it. This is the only error and the car is behaving fine. Does anyone know why the range would be stuck at zero?

Show the pic to your dealer service manager. That would bug me! Maybe you can do a search on one of the BMW websites. They have more experience with such things.

This happen to me today.. Took it in hopefully Monday or Tuesday I'll get my car back and see what the issue is

Let me know what they say. Last time I just disconnected the battery and waited a few mins before reconnecting and it went away. But since it came back I wonder if it’s something else. There’s no codes so there’s nothing to clear.

Yes was kind of busy but got my car back on Monday this is what they did.
