Hatch removal

Does anybody have experience with removing/swapping hatch?
There are two wire harness goes into the car from the hatch on left and right side. Right side seems easy to disconnect by removing the trim piece.
left side wires do not have point of disconnect it runs all the way down.
Is there any instruction of how to remove hatch? Or any guide to follow?
If anyone has done this, please let me know how we can disconnect left side of wire harness of hatch.

Ive got a buddy trying to figure this same thing out who just so happens to also be from VA, you wouldnt happen to drive a black Supra would you
