Help me identify this "cable" (3.0)

Hoping some of the experts can help me identify this brown cable in the engine bay please, and advise if it's in the correct position?

B58B30C is my engine code...

Reason I ask is, it seems to be on a metallic part that will get very hot I presume, I tend to keep any sort of cable separate from direct contact with hot parts if possible... probably fine and over worrying but thought of checking.

Looking at the engine facing the front of the car, this would be to your right, below engine cover level and behind one of the main belts.

That's your alternator/alternator signal cable. It's correct and fine.
