The throttle is limited to 47% open only and the overall engine load stays at 65~65%. The throttle could be 89% and engine load with 90%+ normally.
This happened to an owner on the track day three times already. The previous lap hit 180kph on the straight line but the Supra can only fo 156kph in this lap.While checking the logs, the power is limited. No idea for how to figure out the root cause. No CEL (well the CEL is canceled for the downpipe).
Could this be a hardware or ECU MAP issue? Is this so-called Limb mode in the Bimmer's world? Please advise for any suggestion would be appreciated.
Btw, the owner saw error code "oil pressure too high" in the past ever. Not sure if this is related.
