Yeah, me too unfortunately! I think once the actuator is out of sync you need to replace it. They're like 500 bucks a piece! Eff that, I just don't use the E brake and covered the lever with black tape?Has anyone had issues with their e brake actuators on 6 piston R1 rear calipers? I’m having this issue on the rear passenger side where the actuator will push and engage but when I take off the e brake, it will not back up enough so that it releases enough tension to disengage. Tested both actuators and they’re both fine. Also tested the mechanisms that rotates back and forward when the actuator does it’s job, it’s also working correctly. Seems like the actuator is pushing very hard and then it does not operate long enough the other way to completely disengage.
My temporary solution has been to manually disengage the pressure, re install actuator with the ebrake in off position and just not use the ebrake at all.
Anyone has any ideas? ?
