Define irresponsible things lol
Street race, book it home so now the suspension has to really work to compensate road conditions, fornication in the car in a secluded parking lot, drifting, testing your brakes from 100-0 in the shortest distance, hitting every pot hole or shit road known to man-kind.. idk, stuff like that..

Well I did drive a little aggressive maybe once but nothing crazy. I guess weā€™ll see. Debating just pulling it apart myself instead of having them touch it again. To many people on here on Facebook group saying they wouldnā€™t let them touch it again, making me nervous lol.

You really think it could have damaged something? What exactly is the coil adapter your referring to?
Because the adapter isnt all the way down the stress could have caused a bit of wiggle at the top of the adapter. The top of the adapter has very little clearance with the strut piston itself. What Im saying is make sure there is no scoring of that piston because if there is the seal will fail much faster.

The coil adapter is that sliver thing with the threads on it with the two purple lock rings. That piece slides down over the strut. Since its not sitting all the way down it might have play in it.

Im not saying its 100% damaged, im saying you should 100% check because if it is damaged you need them to pay for new struts.

Any way to easily check if there is play in it without taking it apart? Now that you mentioned it, the main thing Iā€™m worried about is if the coil adapter (hks silver sleeve) was forced over the coil spring seat lip (where the yellow arrow is in my photo) since the spring seat is a larger diameter. Not worried about the spring seat since I needs to come off anyways but worried about the coil adapter being chewed up.

Not to highjack the thread, but mine are making horrible creaking sounds/pinging when turning the steering wheel at low speeds/not moving. Would the spring silencers solve this? I'm not 100% sure if mine are in the correct spot on the spring. Or could this be the strut bearing issue that others have had?

Sorry to raise a thread. Running into similar issue. Had shop install and even after sending them the install video my ride height wonā€™t go any lower in the front and Iā€™m getting a intermittent chassis code.

You might check if the spring seat was removed like mine wasnā€™t. I also had a chassis code and it was the rear ride height bracket installed backwards.
