Horn chirp when locking while engine running

Hey everyone,

In the colder weather, I like to start the car on the drive to warm it up and defrost, but when I lock the doors, the horn chirps.

I don’t have the chirp on as standard for locking the doors, but it still does it while the engine is running.

It’s frustrating as I still have the crappy clown horn and I also do this at about 5.30am before I go to work.

Does anyone know how to stop it happening? On my BMWs it has never chirped while the engine is running.

Well I had the same issue with my X5 and could never figure out how to turn that off. I saw in a bimmercode manual posted to this form instructions how to disable that function (not sure if it was verified to work as I haven't done it yet.

I’ve been reading Bimmercodes manual and I don’t think BDC option is available for the A90?

Just select Z4 when you code. Don't think I've ever actually selected the Supra in Bimmercode
