I've worked on many cars and motorcycles in my life and I've never waited to complete an exhaust mod till after completing a breaking period, and I was advised to wait until I completed the 1200 miles, how accurate and why. I appreciate you guys feedback, as I have one it sitting here, with nothing else to do in this quarantine and I have only 275 miles on it.

i installed my catted downpipe before i hit 1200 miles, however i plan on running it without a tune for the next 1000 miles to make sure no issues. I don't think there really is any issues with installing the downpipe, as it doesnt actually add more wear and tear on the car. its the tune i think that might be your issue before hit 1200.

You will however throw a CEL from your catless. So you will need to clear that via a tune or just live with it until you tune or your dealer may throw a mini fit.

Lmmao!! Installed!! Love it!! No need to spend 2 to 3 times for the other brands, the finish on this one is superb, it even had its logo welded into it in 3d!! Very very nice for a part no one will ever see! Not even the mechanics at the dealer Lololololol!!

The cost of the active one is crazy. Which downpipe are you using? No tune?

Im using this one on the attached pic, no tiene for now, will wait until I go over the 1200 miles. I loved this mod, car sounds like a beast on sportmode, same in normal mode, the quality on the DP is amazing, fit was supperb, this install definitely has some tricks to it , but worth it.No need to go with a more expensive brand, at the end is the same thing tip to tip, even the materials, the welds were beautiful, loved it and recomend it! The logo in 3d welded to the side looked awesome and dont think you can see that from the pics.

I’m honestly really curious if you get a CEL after a bit of time. That was honestly one of the only reasons I went with an AA catted pipe. Makes state inspection so much easier. Cause almost everyone else that went catless threw a CEL without a tune to code it out.

yea sorry. I just remember quite a few people not having it CEL and then after they drove a bit it came on. They would reset and drive like 100 miles and it came back on. Thats why i was quite surprised yours didn't come on at first.

My friend the only thing in the car's electronics notice, is more flow going out, so it gives an error CEL, but doesnt have any timming repercussions like you would if you had a CEL coming from the map sensor in the intake. SO Basically your giving your engine some exlax to it, as with the catted OEM Down Pipe, the engine feels constipated.Once your engine breathes in & out better, everything else mechanically works in harmony and better, remember its only there for emmisions/testing/compliance with state laws etc.
Cheers
