If this is a new car, tell the dealer they found their buyer, IF they don’t charge any junk fees. That’s what I do and they know what that means. Tax will be at the rate of the County that you live in. The dealer fee is the same for all cars they sell at that dealer. You can’t avoid either. So don’t get into it until you know they are willing to sell it for MSRP (or less), NO junk fees or additional side sticker add ons. You‘ll make the salesperson and his boss more at comfortable knowing that’s all they have to negotiate.

Lastly, don’t ask about what your payment would be or trade in amounts. Stick to total price, out the door. Tag and title will be minimal and you can’t get around that as well. Hope that helps ?
