Is it ok to only upgrade your front brakes to a BBK?

Yea you can get the 1 piece rotors for crazy cheap now. I personally would splurge a little extra for the high-iron versions. I think they are like $15-$20 more.

I’ll have to do that next time. Was thinking about it… but couldn’t find the difference w/out extensive searching. I need your cellphone for important decisions like this Bryan. Dadgummit! Thankfully those same rotors have lasted me a long time and no rust. Poor snowbird below ? has rust look. Another $10-20 more on the rotors and he could have gotten the no rust ones like me ? My wife would freak!

They are pretty heavy. My lightweight Power Tex battery will have to makeup some of the difference âš–

Has anybody who is not tracking their car but using it as a street car switched to the R1 Concepts BBK for our cars? Im interested in bumping up in size solely because I prefer the look of bigger rotors and bigger calipers, especially since I will be installing an all black wheel. I know it is a lot of money for what would essentially be a cosmetic upgrade but I figure If I can get a little money back selling my takeoffs I wouldn't mind.

Check out the Signature Werks kit for this purpose. R1 refused to give me piston sizes or other info to figure out if there would be a change in brake bias (super important), where as SW gave me all the info I asked for. I have pics of the kit installed on my car on IG and probably on here somewhere too. Price is good.
