JB4 Maps on 93 Octane

I am running JB4 on B58 on M440 though.
I dont really want to unlock my DME yet, perhaps later next year or something. So far the power was just enough for me and sending out my DME and not be able to run future updates does not excite me too much

To the point. I been running map4 or map1 on 93 octane. I dont have easy access to higher octane. I was wondering what is everyone running on they B58s with 93 pump. Any of you running custom map? Perhaps custom values in settings with waste gate etc..

I have a downpipe and the JB4. Been working with @Jesse DaBears on a custom map6 and he’s been awesome! We logged at map 1 and then map 2. Made a bunch of changes. We’re at like iteration 4 or 5 now. car feels great! Basic bolt ons and it’s plenty fast!

I have heard great things about him. How much was the map? I think its around 600 dollars for custom map right?

What octane you are on?

I’m running a 2023 M440i xdrive with CTS intake and Evolution Racewerks catted downpipe on JB4. Let me know if you figure out any custom maps.
I have one, but I need to do more logging and report back here with results to see if need more tweaking.
I am currently away for work and idk when I will be back, perhaps you will be my guinea pig and report back with logs to this thread: here. I will be more than happy to sent you my values on map4 with custom adjustments.

@ColonelAdama takes all or at least almost all credit to where I got today.

These duty bias a good starting point for a high-flow catted DP on Map 1 or Map 2:

Yes, Duty bias applies to all maps. All the fuel stuff is 0, doesn't apply to b58.

all others settings can stay as default.

Thanks I will post a cleaner run with 3rd or 4th gear redline once the weather clears up.

If I was to convert this to a map 6 equivalent what would be the following setting for…

Default wastegate position, PID gain, FF/wastegate adaption, fuel open loop?

Everything would be the same. FF is saved per map though. Duty bias saves for all maps

Map 6 is just boost targets, so the equivalent of Map 2 would just be ~4 psi with some taper on both ends of the rev-range.
