It's the same engine. The engine cover
How did you get the Verus AOS to fit with the HKS intake?Been meaning to create an engine bay renovation post after the bumper and side panels were back on, still a work in progress.

How much did you have to cut out? Size of heat shield or the AOS?Had to modify the heat shield, size of it is a bit ridiculous.
Honestly, wish I went with a different intake, was an impulse purchase. It looks nice and all, but for the price, HKS could've/should've engineered parts of it better. Granted there's the HKS tax, but still.
What company for the radiator and engine cover?
You have to trim the strut tower side a little to allow it to clear the AOS.How much did you have to cut out? Size of heat shield or the AOS?
Engineer what parts better? I dont think its HKSs responsibility to make parts fit with other brands.
The silicone rings that join the the filter box with the tubes? Thats took some finessing around to get it to stay sealed. I dont mind that plastic rivets if it was to tight the ones facing the front bumper would be even harder to get in.You have to trim the strut tower side a little to allow it to clear the AOS.
Don't disagree, it's not their responsibility to ensure their parts fit with someone else's parts, but that's not what I was referring to.
One of my gripes is the rubber ring that always comes off unless you put a zip tie to around it. Another is the plastic push rivets that hold the 3 pieces of the box together. They're too loose so everything moves around, HKS's recommended solution is to use multiple rubber washers with each rivet. The pieces are not thick enough for push rivets, they could've epoxied flange nuts on the inside of the pieces, then used short thumb screws to hold everything together.
