Right, I know but the Corvette and 911 all come with Targa options as does Mclaren.

I just do not understand why this car wasn't ever offered with one like they went to KCs Paint Shop in Texas to make one but that one off probably has 100k plus worth of work to it plus the car. To each their own, anyone can buy a car that they may or may not can afford. I am not judging anyone but the lack of respect here reminds me of the Nissan s13 and s14 forums or BRZ fanbois plus the WRX STI guys.

I am not wanting to buy a mid 90s Supra. I never really liked them then and they are considered the Holy Grail of the Supra line. The mk5 again is probably the best Supra made to date it just should have been developed more or made larger with a 2+2 format and a Targa. That is what the car was always meant to be. I bet they get the next generation right.

I gotta ask…

All well known and observable in the showroom even if you didn’t research ahead of time.

It was actually an impulse buy, I wanted a Targa 4S but did not want to jump into straight away. I bought it on an impulse since I saw the Toyota sight for it. It became a challenge to find one and for MSRP. I did not feel good about it and almost walked after a 8 hour drive to go get it . Decided to get it but knew I would not have it long. They don't let you drive these cars unless you buy them like I am sure all of you know.

Targa 4s is significantly more expensive, not even in the same category as a Supra.
Surprised the Supra was even your radar.
It’s a really good car, and at the price point there really isn’t anything else like it.
For Targa 4s money though there are a lot of crazy good options.
Oh well, live and learn and it’s going to be a costly mistake even if it sells for 75k.

What do you mean by they don’t let you drive them?
I drove mine before buying it, no way I would ever buy a car without driving it first.

The Supra is a direct competitor to the Porsche 718 is it not? It is a bargain for what it is, and again a great car. I am not going to cut it down, was just not for me. No, dealer maybe a few would, but none that I know of would let you drive the FE GT4 EVO2 packed cars without you buying it. They were literally selling for MSRP plus some 5-10 grand over. I wanted to see how well I liked the super low riding sport car. I like the car, but my wife doesn't and that matters as well. Losing money is relative I guess, but recouping 85-90 percent of my outlay would be good IMO. A Porsche with any sort of miles over 20k depreciates a lot faster.

You sound lid like an expert, I was referring to the grpahics and appearance package as it is referred to as what I described it.

You sound like an expert much knowledgeable about these than myself. I was referring to the graphics appearance package which is based upon the evo2 car. The final editions also have bigger brakes and some other bits that are different as well.
