Greetings everyone, I purchased a new to me 2020 Supra LE 3.0 and I've scrolled through the power 101 thread at least 100 times. I'm just gonna type for a minute and if anything I say is wrong please correct me. I'm here to learn.
Stock turbo is good for up to 550 hp, but I believe that when you get close to that you start blowing seals?
Stock transmission is good for 600 tq, 6th gear is the weak link and anything past that causes slippage and eventually you'll need to upgrade.
I don't drag race, but I do some spirited driving and sometimes occasional roll racing.
I would like to get around 525/575. See how the car feels and once the adrenaline wears off eventually upgrade all the big boy parts.
Current mods include full Fi Valvetronic exhaust, Injen charge pipe, and Armaspeed CF intake. I have an ECUTek OBD2 plugin, this setup was tuned by Mikey Botti.
I acquired a Visconti flex fuel PT-CAN2 for $400 from someone who decided to go top turbo mount after purchasing it.
I believe after installing that I should easily be able to obtain my HP/TQ goals. I'll just need a flex tune for up to E50.
A couple questions, so I held up on my cruise control and it only lets me go up to 1. Therefore I assume only 1 map is loaded. I would like some of the Racerom features like the rolling antilag, is my tuner the person I speak to about getting these features? And a flex fuel tune map should automatically adjust based the amount of E it senses? Is there anything I should be concerned about at those rated HP/TQ numbers. Lastly is the xHP TCU flash needed? Again I'm here to learn, still new to the B58 platform. If I'm missing anything please let me know.

Botti has a nice e50 custom tune. I’m at 620 wtq and just under 500whp. That’s the beauty with the flex fuel setup you can dial it down based on how much ethanol you put in. No extra maps needed, also the stock turbo spools quick so don’t know now much rolling anti-lag will help.

The Xhp transmission tune is highly recommended due to 6th gear slip at higher torque. The first upgrade you should do is bigger tires as you will spins for days with this setup on stock tires.

for any changes on ecutek platform, contact tuner. if it's botti, good luck getting a response within a month.

yes for flex fuel question. E15-E50

575wtq is fine, just gotta be mindful at what rpm you're at and how much throttle you're applying. like in any other car, don't be in 4th gear full throttle at 3000rpms, y'know. -- when spirited driving, ride out 5th gear, don't shift into 6th at WOT. shouldn't really be driving at these speeds anyway..

xHP line pressure fuel bump feature helps with slippage. this feature will increase transmission wear. xHP tune helps in increasing driving comfort and "better" shifts/downshifts.

Thank you, I plan on getting the xHP TCU tune now.
Setup currently has Michelin 305s on the rear with some TE37SLs

For a 60-130 I would be at the top of 5th, you're saying to ease off the throttle before shifting into 6th to reduce the wear correct? Honestly I haven't even driven the car without TC on. Still getting a feel for it!
Edit: Also I contacted Mikey through IG DM, not sure if that's his best method of contact. So hopefully I hear something, it's about to be wintertime anyways so the cars going up in the garage.

yes, ease off before shifting.

for VSC off, i'd suggest practicing pulls at stock power in this car.. not so much the torque that's ridiculous but getting accustomed to a short wheelbase car. stock -> 93 tune -> E50 tune.. or don't turn it off at all and enjoy safety :p

and email is best imo

Stock turbo and trans are weak points at those power levels; talk to your tuner about the Racerom features and xHP flash.
