I was looking at getting some painted mirror caps in Nitro Yellow from the US but the seller pointed out that they weren't sure if the mirrors are slightly different so that left hand drive OEM mirror caps might not fit a right hand drive car. My first instinct is to suggest that the LHD and RHD mirror caps are identical and interchangeable, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone have any light to shed on this?

The mirror caps should he the same. I think the only difference is one might be heated and the other not. My passenger side has significantly less wiring behind it that drivers side (Canada).

Yeah thanks. I can't see why the caps would be different, really. Unless the left and right hand one aren't exact mirror images which they would be externally but maybe internally no?
