You don't want to use the OEM bottom ring. It's designed for the oem pigtail springs. Some MSS kits came with a flat MSS spring isolator but mine did not so I searched for an alternative. After tons of research I found the:

Prothane Motion Control 19-1706-BL

to be the best option. I wouldn't leave it bare either and have metal on metal there, since it sees so much movement. Just drop those spring isolators on first and then the black mss helper spring goes on top of that.

Pro Tip: Get a paint pen and mark the height adjuster knobs (on both front and rear) so you know how many turns you have completed when dialing it in. I put 1 stripe mark on one side of the adjuster knobs and then on the other opposite side I put 2 stripes.

Made it super easy when calibrating 1 full turn vs 1/2 turn vs 1/4 turn when raising or lowering the car. You can see the 2 yellow stripes in the pic below. Be sure to mark both the lower and higher height adjuster knobs.

I installed them with the rubber piece you recommended and it’s still sitting high on max low setting 😭

Since you have different wheels/tires, can you measure the gap from the middle of the wheel axle straight up to the wheel arch? What gap are you reading?

At the lowest setting of the HAS adjuster I was sitting on approx 12-3/4" gap. I have raised mine since then (due to driveway constraints), and am currently at 13-3/4" and that's about 3/4 of the way up on the HAS adjuster knobs.
