My 2 year struggle to get this photo.

I've been over 2 years chasing a photo of the full moon (not the day before or after as that doesn't work) setting behind the Sanibel Lighthouse here in SW Florida. Finally, the alignment and the weather landed in my favor. So, on May 1st at 6am I was out at a beach, looking almost 4 miles across the water to the lighthouse and I got these shots. And remember, these were 2 years in the making!

This is the shot I wanted. The moon just at the ground. I was crazy excited when I got this.

The, as the moon went down over the next 60 seconds or so, I kept on shooting and I got this. Now, this one is my favorite!
