There's rules against "threadcrapping" but I'm making an unauthorized exception..

This BDC is YOURS forever dude. It's been factory coded to your VIN, and you already admitted to installing and trying to use it in the "Lost Keys" thread. Whether it "worked" for you or not, it certainly won't for anyone else. Accept your losses and move on.

Sucks I know, but it's the truth.

Toyota tech said it’s not programmed. But if you say so, so be it. It will be MY TOKEN OF CRAPPY SERVICE on my garage wall. You might want to reach out to the sellers on eBay and share your thoughts. I think the 37 sellers would appreciate your advice.

Thanks

offtopic. don't you just love it when random countries request certifications. Like what the hell Pakistan. Why do you need a certification for a BDC?
Same for Anatel, Brazil. Why? What's so special about you guys.. Jeez. The time, resources and effort that goes into getting shit certified is immense.

ALSO, if it was coded to my vin, why didn’t the car start when the Toyota tech attempted to program the key? The car started right away with my old bdc.

I don’t think he knew how to program the new computer and went with my old one.
Should have done that from the beginning and not waste money and time.
