definitely has me bummed out not having the heads up display,
i called 33 dealers. and 5 of them agreed to MSRP. at the time no one had any info regarding the car other than whats on the spec sheet and MSRP, but most of them were marking it up within 5-10k. highest one i came across was 15k I laughed at the salesman and the price manger or whatever cus we were on speaker phone and they still tried convincing me it was worth it hahaJust curious, are you guys getting your A91's at MSRP? One of the dealers here quoted me $5-10K above MSRP depending on the market rate when they get it in.
3M and a few companies make film for that, not super worried about it.on the BMW equivalents, the windshield is also different for hud vs non hud. We are talking about something like $10,000 to retro fit properly - i would NOT trust a dealership mechanic to pull glass
Assuming you can program it It'd be cheaper to upgrade an A91 to have a hud wouldn't be that bad(you can find the HUD for like 500$). 500$ + dash for around 1100 at most, the trim pieces for hud are 100, even if you did get the glass it's 450 + install which isn't much. THE WORST part is you would have to pay an upholster to trim the new dash in blue lolDamn Iād be bummed. Might as well just get a premium and get it wrapped in blue lol
I bet every single one of us would have paid another thousand or two for HUD too, so dumb. From their announcement day footage screenshot. It has HUD! So should we take Toyota to the court?
in a way you pay toyota an extra ~2k to replace the HUD for a seat warmer (compared to a base 3.0 and considering the CF parts)Another random thought - I had the black one preordered for a bit. Imagine if you were getting that one! Paying more for alcantara seats and blue stitching but losing HUD. OOF
