Potential Water Pump Issue?

When doing the coolant bleed procedure after replacing my turbo, I did the procedure with the car in accessory mode. I heard whirring but when I opened the reservoir, I couldn’t see any stream coming out at all. Is this normal??

in other bmw model videos, you would see a coolant stream recirculating within the reservoir and I am not sure if this is a cause for concern. I have no codes that indicate I have a bad water pump either.
