Question about rust....

I was working on replacing the cabin brace with CF one today. While I was taking out the factory metal brace, I ended up scratching rear quarter panel a bit. I replaced the brace and put the trim pieces back on without thinking about it. Then again, I thought to myself, "rear quarter panel is steel! damn it" Any suggestion to patch those scratches so it won't rust? I did not take a picture of scratches, but you have an idea where I scratched from the picture though....

Clear coat paint pen

If it's in an invisible area: POR15 is cheap as dirt and works great.
