Yo!
I wanted to see if anyone’s ever had this issue on their Supra before. My radio is not playing any audio, but on screen shows the volume going up and down.
I thought it was a blown amp cause I’ve seen some on here in the past have similar issues, but those threads are old and dead with no resolutions. How the issue originally started:
- driver side rear speaker started buzzing and crackling while music would play
- all speakers would end up cutting out during songs
- finally none of the speakers would play audio
Replaced the amplifier with an audison amp and still no sound. We tested each individual speaker and they get power, but the radio just doesn’t play music.
the car doesn’t have warranty anymore cause it’s a 2020 (and bagged so taking apart trunk is gonna be a nightmare at a dealer) so was trying to avoid going to a dealership - has anyone ever had this issue? And what was the fix?
this cars “BMW” lineage is starting to show in a bad way lol
(I also tried holding down the volume button to “reset the iDrive” and no luck)
