Rear Bumper Flexing

Prefacing that this may be dumb question.

Was rear ended today at stop light. Luckily very minimal cosmetic damage as they were going maybe 2-3 miles an hour.

As I was checking the integrity of the rear bumper noticed that it seems to flex a lot when I push in. It’s not misaligned or out of place just seems like it flexes in and squeaks. Never really had to push in my bumper before so not sure if this is just how it’s designed. I’m assuming so but obviously paranoid after getting hit.

There is considerable amount of flex if you push on it, but should not feel loose at all. You may have lost a clip or two from the bump.. (?)

I detail my car all the time after a drive and I've never thought the bumper was loose.

Luckily I would say it does not feels loose. Just when I press in it has a lot of give in the middle. May of been clip or something that was removed but seems like structurally bumper is intact. No way to check without removing entire bumper so going to let it be
