Rear caliper comparability?

If there is thread covering this please let me know and I’ll delete this. I’m in the process of painting my calipers 3.0 base, and the rear are so weak suck I can’t stand to look at them! Even the rears off of a premium and m340i are the same weak suck calipers. Does anyone know of any other cross fitments from maybe an m3 or m4? I’m looking for something with a solid middle, pic is for example.

i think, sure the rear calipers doesnt look as exciting as the front but isnt the supra braking system designed this way for a reason? I can only imagine if you swap a larger rear caliper into the back, itll disrupt the whole braking functionality. sometimes bigger isnt always better imo

this is a good point, but I’m not necessarily after a bigger setup, just a solid caliper…

All the new 5x112 hubs use the new electronic style parking brake
Even the rear on the CCB brakes are sliding calipers
Majority of braking force is done by the fronts
The rear brembos saves weight and are for aesthetic reasons

M2/3/4/5 all have the same slide style rear caliper now.
