The REVEL Motorsports / Ring Racing Toyota Supra GT4 we at Mod in Japan proudly support, was shipped from its home of at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany and is currently in Japan for some critical off season testing in preparation for a full season of endurance races at the Nürburgring in the VLN Series as well as the 24-hour race that should hopefully happen this year.

What is incredible is that this team is a private team that is operated by real enthusiast I want to promote Toyota and Lexus the arena that is global motorsports. It is not uncommon for GT level cars to be shipped all over the world for development but it's during these times that make the biggest difference in the season for these teams. Every driver that runs at the Nürburgring has so much experience that they could run the course with their eyes closed with the only real variable of weather conditions messing them up. They have such high degrees of experience that you could save that they run the course off muscle memory alone. with that high degree of racing and experience the only real variable to achieve success is making sure that the car is reliable and every ounce of performance that can be gained is calculated and brought out of the car.

During this time making sure that the tires can handle the sheer punishment that is the Nordschleife is going to be critical for the team success. To really emphasize the importance of tires and testing during an endurance race at the Nürburgring, remember that top tier teams take about eight minutes to complete one lap. it is so large that it could be raining and snowing in one part of the track and completely sunny and dry in another. It has earned its name and title as the green hell for a reason and this critical down time well hopefully make the difference between finishing a race and a top-tier Podium finish. We are excited to continually watch the development of the program and as things develop, we will keep you informed.

Enjoy these behind-the-scenes photos of the car and its development and as more photos and videos become available, I will be sure to post!

Hi, good to have someone here involved with GT4.
Is the car track width different than the stock ? I know a lot of things are changed front back suspension. We have GT4 wheels ET 47 and wondering why such offset ? What size spacers they run front and back ?

Planing to use 15/7mm spacers to bring it to stock offset and track width.

Thanks in advance!
