It was a tough decision, but I sold my 300ZX project.

How far along with the project were you?It was a tough decision, but I sold my 300ZX project.

Literally ready to remove the old motor and drop in the freshly "over built" 2JZ. It's ok...the next car won't need a 2JZ .How far along with the project were you?
I had enough saved to put a down payment for a GTR before I sold the Z. This sale was the icing on the cake....the fact that it was 100% stock maximized my profit on the car. Best investment I ever made (car wise). I'm not gonna lie, like I said before if what I heard is true about what Toyota has lined up for the MKV....I would be stupid not to get one.Hmmmmm, you hear some rumors that get you excited.....then coincidentally make a post shortly after saying you sold your project car....
Hypothetically if you were building cash for the MKV the only version that would make you do so is this new rumored engine / manual / whatever it is....if that version was coming at a later time you wouldn't need to sell the project now so suddenly.....yep.....these epic rumors must be available from the get go!
PS. this post is 20% serious, 80% joking. I understand there are many many variables (need cash for other things in life, multiple possible "special cars" etc. etc. etc.) so don't take this as a concrete hypothesis.
I could care less if they call it Marshmallow Racing or Gazoo Racing or whatever....that means nothing to me. Those who know me well, know I care about cars that are "special"....and if what I heard is true....Is this Gazoo business that has you all hopeful - will it apply to all A90 or just a specific few?
Yep, Subaru put the RA motor (stronger pistons and sodium filled valves) in the 2019's and in the upcoming 2020's as "final editions" for the VA chassis's.Congrats! I have 2015 WRX in that same color. It’s my daily driver as well, and I love it. Didn’t know the newer year STI had the RA motor. They’ve been sticking with that legacy motor for quite some time lol.
Gonna enjoy it for at least 6 months as is, then will probably do a Stage 2 or Stage 2 Plus. Not going for anything over 400WHP, that will be later when I crack open the block and go fully forged.Congrats man! And welcome to the Subie family. Looking at any first mods?
Thanks! I love the interior the most....everything feels nice, very good quality materials. Feels like a proper JDM car. Subaru has definitely stepped up their game since 2004.Congrats. How do you like the interior?
Luv Subarea's!! That's a nice car, congrats. Inside pics please!!
